When everyone in the world is focusing on saving money and cutting back expenses, it can be difficult for a business to find way of keeping the customers coming through the doors. Not only is the budget being cut in most businesses, but many consumers are also reducing their personal spending budgets. Once you create your flyer design, print them out on bold color pages and hang them up at local business, and community center. Many companies choice to print out their flyers on card stock, as it is thicker and more durable. Card stock can be found in most dollar stores these days, thanks to the scrapbook craze that has swept the nation.

If neither of those ideas seem to tickle your fancy, then another way of advertising is through promotional items. Although some of these items can be a bit expensive, there are plenty that are inexpensive enough to allow you to mass market. Promotional items are a great way to not only advertise to the recipients of the products, but to all those that are in the vicinity of the recipient as well. Items such as pens, mugs and bumper stickers are all inexpensive, with high success rates. Just think of how many different places a promotional bumper sticker will travel to, this is a great way to reach out to a group of people that would other wise not be reachable.

Your business should also try to get involved with community events, charities and groups. This makes your business a regular name in the public, and allows you to reach out to the community and consumers that help keep your business growing.

Just because you are on a reduced budget, it does not mean that you need to forgo all advertising. These tips and ideas have proven successful for many business. Be creative and your doors will continue to see a flow of consumers each and every day.
